Back in 2011 Vivian made a chef’s hat for Hattingdon that she named Bryanna — after vegan chef Bryanna Clark Grogan.
Vivian thought she had lost the file, but recently she came across it while looking through an old flash drive. The file was not in good shape — the layers unfortunately were locked — but she said, what the heck, I will recreate it. We are glad she did.
We were thinking about putting the Bryanna design on some cool product. The only challenge we can see at the moment is how to fit it on a mug. It may have to be without the whisk, but that’s okay . . . . look.
Mrs Farrell, the creator of Hattingdon Horses, loves crazy hats. And she has created some pretty wild ones over the years. “Hattingdon is after all a cartoon horse,” says Farrell. “Who better to wear crazy hats and give us all a good laugh? I would like to wear some of them myself!”
She created in the wee hours of this morning. Isn’t it fun?
We hope “Enya” brings you a “hatful of smiles.” Have a a super good weekend. Hugs, HH.
Mrs Farrell, the creator of Hattingdon® Horses, has made many, many hats for the popular cartoon equines over the years — hundreds of them. Amazingly she never seems to run out of ideas. The ones that are shall we say — a bit “out there” — always seem to be her favourites. Here is an example.
At the beginning of last year, Farrell opened Photoshop, selected one of her basic templates, and began adding layers of lines and boxes and rectangles until she had what you see below.
It has a sort of Deco / Japanese flavor to it, doesn’t it?
No name immediately came to mind, so Farrell set the design aside to think about it — and promptly forgot. That was around a year and a half ago!
Mrs Farrell recently came across the design while scanning content on an old flash drive, decided to keep it and named the design Kimora. She then said, “Hey. Let’s blog this or put it on Insta and see if it flies. It’s bound to make somebody smile.”
That is what Hattingdon is all about. As our catchphrase says, “Hattingdon Horses — Bringing You a Hatful of Smiles.”
