Cool Breeze

Sweltering weather calls for a cool breeze. And we have just that in the form of a fabulous hat we named Breeze. Here’s Hattingdon modeling it for us.

Anita

The “Anita” cross-banded turban is one of Hattingdon fans’ all-time favourites. This elegant look comes in three colourways — black, blue and multi. Perfect for protecting your mane in summer.

We have a surprise look too. Vivian was inspired to reinterpret the “Cherie” classic hat as a cross-banded turban — including the button. It is gorgeous! Here they are.

Sweet, sunny Solana

Back in 2015, a charming ladies’ gardening club based in Atlanta asked Vivian to create a Hattingdon just for them. She did, and named the design Solana. We had tee shirts made for them, tote bags, greeting cards and mugs. Here she is.

Solana Hattingdon.

Solana is a girl’s name of Spanish origin meaning “sunshine”.

By the way, this darling, sunny hat puts us in mind of that George and Ira Gershwin, Heyward Du Bose song — “Summertime”.

Summertime
And the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’
And the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy’s rich
And your ma’ is good lookin’
So hush
Little baby
Don’t you cry

Summertime lyrics © Nokawi Music. Sung by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.

It is nice to see you here. Come back and see us again soon!
