Pip pip hooray

Pip pip hooray. It’s the Pippa hat. We love this hat and so does Hattingdon.

The Pippa hat is done in the loveliest pure red, with round dome and a beautiful, sweeping upturned “brim” across the front. Hattingdon decided to wear her mane swept to the front.

Pip pip hooray for Hattingdon!

See you again soon. Hugs and kisses, and millinery blisses.

Loretta Classic

Happy Monday. We have a lovely hat for you. Pretty in pink.

Loretta Hattingdon.

Wikipedia, the fount of all knowledge (wink) mentions this about the color pink:

“Pink is the color of a namesake flower that is a pale tint of red. It was first used as a color name in the late 17th century.”

“According to surveys in Europe and the United States, pink is the color most often associated with charm, politeness, sensitivity, tenderness, sweetness, childhood, femininity, and romance. A combination of pink and white is associated with chastity and innocence.”

So there you have it! Hope you are feeling “in the pink”.

Collette

Mrs Farrell created a new hat silhouette in numerous colorways and color combinations. She named it Collette. Here are a few examples. Enjoy!

Collette Hattingdon in Pink
Collette Hattingdon in Yellow
Collette Hattingdon in Blue
Collette Hattingdon in Orange
Collette Hattingdon in Grey and Black
Collette Hattingdon in Purple

We especially love the yellow, grey and black, and two-tone orange. Oh, and the pink too . . . . sigh, all of them really. Aren’t they sweet?

Come back and see us again soon.

Love, Hattingdon Horses. Bringing you a “Hatful of Smiles”.

Sunny Tuesday

It is chilly, wet and a bit dreary where we are. We decided to cheer ourselves up — and you of course — with the Sunny sweetheart hat. Here she is.

Sunny Hattingdon

When Mrs Farrell first created the hat shape above, we didn’t know what to call it. After a bit more discussion, she heard someone conversing in the background say, “I don’t know what we should call it, but it sure is a sweetheart of hat.” Voila! The rest as they say, is history.

Alexa Classic

Hello and Happy Monday. Being Monday, it is time for another classic hat. And we are early today too!

We chose the Alexa hat featuring grey and white stripes accented with golden chevrons. Very chic.

Hattingdon can wear this for just any occasion.

See you again soon. Thank you for stopping by.

Flashback Elana

Hello. Hooray! It’s Flashback Friday.

This week we reached deep into our design vault. Amazingly, this hat design was created in late 2007, and had not been given a name. We decided to call it “Elana”.

Elana Hattingdon.

As you can see, it is a colorful fashion hat in shades of bright purple; a luscious, vivid pink; and a gorgeous olive green. Isn’t she lovely?

Here is wishing you all a very lovely weekend.

Regards,
