Vivian has been going through all of her design files and rediscovering some really wonderful Hattingdons. Here is a darling creation she had totally forgotten about. Today, the 4th of July, seems the perfect day to “liberate” it and give it a post all its own.

The Statue of Liberty has as many colorful stories surrounding her — as so many icons do. Here are just a few basic facts instead.
The Statue of Liberty is a 305-foot (93-metre) statue located on Liberty Island in Upper New York Bay, off the coast of New York City. The statue is a personification of liberty in the form of a woman. She holds a torch in her raised right hand and clutches a tablet in her left.
We do not think you will find many, if any around here to argue with any of above, especially the “personification of liberty in the form of a woman.”
We have another Hattingdon coming right up in a few minutes — a 4th of July Classic Hat!
Happy 4th. Love, Hattingdon & Co.
